Boda Getta BBQ- Hits Auburn, Ala.

"Boda Getta Boda Getta Boda Getta Bah Rah, Rah, Rah Sis Boom Bah Wegl,
Wegl WAR DAMN EAGLE Kick 'em in the butt Big Blue - HEY!"

The Auburn University chant Boda Getta has a long history beginning with
Pat Dye, former Auburn football coach, addressing the crowd about the
first time Auburn played Alabama.

He told of how the sun was setting in the west, producing an orange sky
that the shakers brandished by the fans, gave off a blue cloud,

Help Literacy in Alabama on April 11th

The Junior League of Lee County will be hosting the Art Walk/Run on
Saturday, April 11th, at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., the timed run then starts at 9:15
a.m.and then finely the walk begins at 9:30 a.m.

This 1.5 mile walk or 5k run includes a free T-shirt, a goodie bag and
refreshments before and after the event. The registration fee is $15
before April 1 and $20 after April 1.

Swimming for a cure

NCAA National Champions one day, swimming to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis the next.

The Auburn University Swimming and Diving Team hosted Laps for Cystic Fibrosis on Sat., April 4, 2009 for the fifth year.

Opelika High School Theater Society presents Les Miserables, a musical- phenomenon known across the world.

Les Miserables is based upon the 1862 novel by Victor Hugo set in the early 19th century in France. This musical follows the intertwining stories of a cast of characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution.

Run for arthritis research

The Alpha Omicron Pi sorority will be hosting their annual event Run for Roses on Saturday, March 28th beginning at 9 a.m.

This 5 k run or walk around Auburn’s campus will start in front of Toomer Hall on the Hill. And while running or walking the beautiful scenery of Auburn will be your guide.
