The quaint city of Auburn is nearly perfect for a college town. It has mod, little coffee shops, trendy boutiques and unique eateries; basically, all the signature college town favorites. But ask any college student who has gone to school at Auburn and there is one thing that Auburn has been missing- a doughnut shop.

Although, as the spring semester is drawing to a close and many are anticipating graduating, there are a number of students on the opposite side of that scenario. Auburn University nearly finished admitting their next freshman class for 2009.

The final round of letters will be going out soon and high school are eagerly anticipating their admissions status. Some seniors found out as early as last October, others, who applied later, are still awaiting decisions.

Auburn University's annual A-Day Game is fast approaching. The Tigers will hit the field on Saturday, April 18 , at 1 pm. Fans are anticipating this game as a foreshadowing of next season.

The Tigers have gone through a lot of changes this year as they have implemented a new coaching staff. Auburn suffered a tragic season in 2008 and have done all in there power to regain their status as one of the top teams in the South Eastern Conference.

Auburn University’s Alpha Gamma Delta chapter of is hosting a talent competition called Wing Jam at Buffalo Connection on Tuesday, March 31. The proceeds from the event all go to raising money and awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
