Auburn's Newest Fraternity Strives for Excellence

On Oct. 27, Phi Sigma Kappa, or “Phi Sig,” became the 28th fraternity on Auburn’s campus. The fraternity has 27 members, who became brothers on Nov. 1, at what the brother’s call “The Lodge,” which is the fraternity’s temporary meeting house on the corner of Glenn Avenue and South College Street.

“The King” Lives at The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Art

He was gyrating his hips long before Joni Mabe transformed black and white portraits of him into colorful, glittery
pop art masterpieces.

Main Street Painted in Pink

Every October the streets of downtown Opelika, Ala. are filled with hundreds of Lee County residents dressed in pink.
Families can be seen holding hands while walking a mile on Railroad Avenue for one special cause.
